Happy Valentine’s Day!
Having a positive attitude makes a difference
When there are difficulties in our life and we feel down, this is the time to reflect, think and expect the positive. Our Heavenly Father sent us to earth to learn, grow, experience, succeed and not to fail. We must always remember that God will never give us a burden that we cannot bear. Each and everyone of us have different challenges in life and it is up to us if we face it in a positive or negative way.
When we choose to have a positive attitude, we usually perform our work better and faster, and we usually enjoy it more. Filling our life with happy thoughts will help us overcome the negative feelings we feel inside. Some challenges might be easier for us to face if we will develop a positive attitude. We must learn to trust our self and God then do our best in our life no matter how many difficulties we may face.
President Spencer W. Kimball said:
“I remind you … that regardless of your present age, you are building your life; … it can be full of joy and happiness, or it can be full of misery. It all depends upon you and your attitudes, for your altitude, or the height you climb, is dependent upon your attitude or your response to situations” (in Conference Report, Oct. 1974, 112–13; or Ensign, Nov. 1974, 80).
We must always remember not to let circumstances influence our thoughts and moods. By rising over them mentally, we will eventually rise over them materially. By trusting in the Lord, praying and reading the scriptures we will develop a positive attitude and personal growth.
May the Lord bless us all! Keep smiling!
When Things Go Wrong
We often ask ourselves, why our lives take a turn for the worse even if we were trying to live the gospel. We keep on doing the things according to God, but still, we find ourselves in deep water sometimes.
I too, have felt the same feeling of being alone and empty in my life and keep on asking myself the same question during the time of deepest trials my family has faced. But, I’ve never losed my faith, trust and hope to the Lord. I’ve continued to do what is right having a positive attitude that someday my family will overcome the trials given by God.
I know that if we continue to obey the Lord’s commandments, our lives will be blessed. The Lord will always be there to help us in times of our deepest trials and afflictions. He has carried me and made my burden light.
The scriptures says, “Nevertheless the Lord seeth fit to chasten his people; yea, he trieth their patience and their faith” (Mosiah 23:22). Let us put our trust in the Lord for He will deliver us out of our trials, our troubles and our afflictions, and we shall be lifted up in the last day (Ether 6:5, 11-12)
Let us always have patience in facing our afflictions, having a firm hope that one day we shall rest from all our afflictions.
It’s Christmas!
May we all feel the love, warmth and care of each and everyone this holiday season. Christmas is the time that we just not celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ, it’s also the time when we give our love by imparting what we have to others who have none. By showing our love and concern to others, our savior Jesus Christ will be very happy!
Again, Merry Christmas to all! Spread the love! Peace to all!

“Strong Earthquake to hit NCR in Philippines”
“Massive quake could destroy 40% of NCR buildings”
Some 38% to 40% of Metro Manila’s residential and mid-rise buildings, as well as 14% of the area’s high-rise buildings, could be destroyed in the event of a 7.2 magnitude earthquake, which could happen anytime between now and the next 400 years, the chief of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said Wednesday.
Phivolcs Director Renato Solidum Jr. issued the warning during Wednesday’s Senate hearing on climate change, which was chaired by Sen. Loren Legarda and Sen. Rodolfo Biazon.
Solidum explained this is the worst case scenario because Metro Manila is within the Valley Fault Line formerly known as the Marikina Fault Line. The fault line starts from the Sierra Madre down to Santa Rosa, Laguna and crosses to Tagaytay, parts of Bulacan, Rizal, Quezon City, Pasig, Marikina and parts of Makati.
While there is no reason to panic if everyone is prepared, Solidum said the agency has no way to predict earthquakes from the fault line. He said Phivolcs has yet to monitor any movement from the fault line.
Public Works and Highways Undersecretary Manuel Bonoan said the DPWH has already made an assessment of public structures in Metro Manila since 2002. He said the retrofitting of all major structures has already been completed and that they are not expecting a total collapse in case of a major earthquake.
Solidum, meanwhile, debunked reports that the San Roque Dam is located on a fault line. He said the dam is seven kilometers away from the San Manuel Fault in Pangasinan.
Danilo Sedilla, National Power Corporation vice-president for engineering, said the agency first investigated the exact location of all earthquake faults before building the dam. He added that the dam was also constructed to withstand a 7.8 magnitude earthquake.

** News about an earthquake of magnitude 7.8 that will hit certain parts of the Philippines specially in NCR has spread widely not just on television, newspapers and radio but also over the internet and has created buzzes and scares among Filipinos. This news is indeed scary and should not to be taken lightly. We never know when this strong earthquake will happen but one thing for sure is that we should all be prepared. We should now start earthquake drills on schools/universities, offices and even in our own homes or conduct disaster preparedness programs so that we will know what to do when a srong earthquake strikes. Let us all pray to GOD that he will now allow this strong earthquake to hit our country and that He will spare us whatever calamities might come again.
What is Poverty?
Poverty is a state of being poor. Being poor means having little or no means. Some say being poor is dirty and tiring. People who are experiencing this are full of sufferings. They say they are hopeless and they could never rise above the state of life they’re facing. They are afraid that their children might become heir to their poverty.
It’s hard to live in this world if you have been deprived of things necessarily for you to go on with your life especially if you have a family of your own. You are constantly in need. You necessitate for food so you can feed your family; you need money to pay your $20 rented old, tiny and wrecked house near the squatter’s area; you need medicine for your sick baby and you need clothing for your naked children.
Poverty is when you lack money and can’t provide the needs of your family. You can’t even buy a can of sardines or a big loaf of bread in the supermarket because the only money you have in your pocket is just enough to pay for the house you are renting. It is when you’re husband was fired in his job and since then cannot find a new or permanent job. And you as a wife and a mother need to find extra jobs like doing the laundry and cleaning the house of a rich neighbor that will pay you $20, collecting newspapers/magazines/bottles/cans in the garbage and then sell them to a junk shop or going to a relative or a friend to seek for assistance just to survive your family.
When you are in poverty, you suffer. You can’t sleep at night because of thinking how and where you can obtain the things your family needs. You can’t even remember when is the last time you have eaten a slice of pizza or drank a bottle of soda. And when you look at yourself in the mirror, you’ll realize that you look ten years older than your real age. You also feel sorry because you can’t send you’re little children to school because you don’t have the money to sustain their educational needs.
Isn’t sad to know that there are many families suffering because of poverty? It hurts to see young children walking on the streets barefooted begging for food. As years go by, the rate of poor families is surprisingly increasing. So the question is what are we going to do about this? Are we also experiencing this? Continue reading
The End Times

2. War in the Middle East
3. Chaos in other countries
4. Oil Price Hike
5. Intense Poverty
6. Intense Famine
7. Malnutrition
8. More and more crimes
9. Strong Typhoons that are hitting different places
10. The Change of Climate all over the world
11. Pollution
12. The what we call “Global Warming” is already happening
13. Different Diseases that are hard to cure
14. Suicide Bombings in the Middle East
15. Chaos among Politicians
16. Graft & Corruption
17. Kidnapping
18. Tsunami
….and many other things.
What will be the next?? Aren’t you afraid that this might be the signs that the end of the world is really near??
We really should always be prepared at all times because we never know when will the end of the world will come. Personally, I’m not yet prepared and I’m greatly affected on the things that are happening around my country and all over the world and whenever there are tragic situations happening in different places I always get shock!
This time we really have to be more closer to our Creator. Only the Lord knows what’s gonna happen next. We have to stand firm with steadfastness and faith to our Heavenly Father and his only begotten son Jesus Christ until the end…..
Let us all pray that there will be peace in our world…..Let’s help one another…together we could make this world a better place to live in!
Peace to all!
